About Me
Hi there! I'm Regina, and I've been breaking... I mean testing software since 2014! I really love my job - there's nothing quite like finding that perfect bug that makes developers question their life choices. I moved to Germany in 2022 and I'm currently job hunting
I'm always learning new stuff because, let's face it, technology changes faster than my mood on Monday mornings! For example, I turned this website from boring HTML/CSS pages into this fancy React thing with a database and everything. Pretty cool, right?
When I'm not hunting bugs, I'm learning piano (my neighbors love me ) and singing (they love me even more ). I also watch birds - they're probably gossiping about me in bird language, but at least they're cute! Oh, and I try to walk 5,000 steps daily, but if there's heavy rain, I'd rather drink hot chocolate and read some books.
My Hobbies & Interests
Reading
I am passionate about reading books and enjoy immersing myself in different genres. Every month, I buy a variety of books and share my reviews on my Goodreads profile, which you can access through my links page.
Traveling
I have had the opportunity to explore different countries (15 so far), and I particularly enjoy domestic tourism in Germany.
Pets
I have a love for animals, especially dogs, cats, and birds. I do some birdwatching and can identify birds. I did a dog training. I had 2 cats.
Video Vlog
Ever since my student life, I have been creating YouTube videos to document moments for myself and share a part of my journey. I enjoy shooting new content, capturing unique stories, and bringing them to life through video editing. It's a creative outlet that allows me to reflect and express myself.
Singing
Since November 2024, I have been learning vocals, fulfilling a lifelong dream of mine to sing. Every time I practice, I feel like the happiest person in the world. It has quickly become one of my favorite things to do, bringing me immense joy and satisfaction.
Old Hollywood Films
I have a passion for classic Hollywood cinema from the golden age. I catalog each movie on my Letterboxd profile, rating them from 1 to 5 stars. When a film truly captivates me, I purchase it on DVD or digitally to revisit these cinematic treasures.
